Logging In

If you have a problem logging in, do not assume it is because of something you did. There have been a number of issues that have been resolved because someone spoke up and told me they had trouble. If you don't tell me you can't log in, I will not know. This is your website, I am here to help.

A problem which has been resolved has to do with the time and time zone that your particular computer is set to. After extensive trouble shooting in the wrong places, I discovered that many computers have the correct time on their clocks, but that the time zone is not correctly set. This causes the cookies that allow you to log in to be fooled into believing your session has either timed out or not begun yet. To correct this problem:
Double click on the clock in your task bar.
Assure that it is set to the correct time.
Select the time zone tab and assure that it is set to the proper time zone. In Cincinnati, it should be set to Eastern Time (GMT-5:00) and be certain it is automatically adjusting for daylight savings time.

Cookies must be enabled on your browser in order to log in

To enable cookies in Microsoft Internet Explorer®:

Select the tab in the tool bar that says "Tools".
From there select "Internet Options"
A dialog box will appear with a number of tabs at the top. Select the one that says "Privacy"
Adjust the slider to "Accept All Cookies"

To enable cookies in Netscape Navigator®:

Select the tab in the toolbar that says "Edit"
From there select "Preferences"
A dialog box will appear in the left column, select "Privacy and Security"
Select "Cookies" and click on "Enable Cookies from Originating Website" or "Enable All"

If you have upgraded to the latest version of Internet Explorer, there are over 40 settings in the privacy area that could be affecting your chances of logging in. There are an equal or better number in other settings in the browser. My advice is to download and install Mozilla Firefox. It is an open source web browser developed by hackers like me to get around all the problems that Microsoft has created with the newer versions of their OS and Browsers. You can find Firefox here
